Psalms 147:11

"The LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love."

This verse reminds us that God takes pleasure in those who reverence him and have faith in his unwavering love. Our fear of the Lord isn't meant to be a cowering fear, but rather a respectful awe and reverence for his power and holiness. When we put our trust in his unfailing love, we find comfort and security in knowing that he will never abandon us.
